Helicopter tracking error and input aggression for point tracking tasks under boundary avoidance situations

Abstract. Helicopters are broadly applied in complex and harsh task environment such as rescue mission firefighting. These tasks require helicopters to operate ground proximity, keep tracking the target while avoid obstacles trashing. The combination of point boundary avoidance can be utilized describe this condition. This study implemented a simulation on MATLAB Simulink simplified helicopter dynamic model investigate tasks. analysis variance (ANOVA) regression were used analyze effects conditions participants' error input aggression. Results demonstrated that overall had negative correlation with aggression, participants tended have higher aggression lower near boundary.
